Nokia has recently unveiled two new 3G handsets. Dubbed as the Nokia 8800 Arte and 8800 Sapphire Arte, these mobile phones are aimed at the discerning and style-conscious consumers. These phones come with anti-fingerprint coating, 2-inch OLED display with QVGA 240×320 pixels (16 million colors), 3.2MP auto focus camera with 8x digital zoom. The Nokia 8800 Arte will be released in the fourth quarter of 2007 with the estimated price tag of $1,470. The Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte will be released in the first quarter of 2008 and retails for around $1,700.
This new handset from Connecty comes with a same design with the Vertu’s Signature Cobra mobile phone. The company showed off their new bar-type cell phone during Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2007. No info yet on pricing or availability.

Gresso Ltd. from Russia comes out with a pair of phones for its Avantgarde Collection. The handsets are powered by Windows Mobile 6 and are housed in African Blackwood and titanium casing. The Avantgarde Sol features a sapphire crystal display. Its keyboard is made of real gold. The other model in this collection is called Luna, which features laser-etched Roman numerals. The Avantgarde Collection of Cellphones from Gresso Ltd. will be released in the fourth quarter of this year.
T3 shows us a hands-on preview of the Vertu Ascent. In case you didn’t know, the handset has a high-resolution Sapphire Crystal display, stainless steel keys, Bluetooth, and a 20mm hands-free loudspeaker. The company claims the phone’s leather-coated rear is resistant to everything from lipstick to petrol.
