Samsung SPH4650 Multi-Touch Smartphone

Samsung has announced a new smartphone in Korea. The Samsung SPH4650 Multi-Touch smartphone features a 624MHz high performance PXA300 CPU and Windows Mobile 6.0. The handset also comes loaded with a 2.8 inch LCD TV Screen. There is no further info on this mobile phone. It is priced at around $550. Stay tuned for more details.

Hop 1883 GPS Mobile Phone

Hop-On Wireless operating in California will offer a new entry level mobile phone with GPS support. Known as the Hop1883, this tri-band (900/1800/1900 MHz) GSM phone has a 2.8inch 240 x 320 resolution (QVGA) screen, the embedded SiRF Star III GPS receiver chip, and a 2MP digital camera.

Verizon LG Voyager Phone Specs Unveiled

Verizon plans to offer the LG Voyager mobile phone that features a 2.81-inch external touchscreen, VibeTouch tactile feedback support, V CAST Mobile TV, dual integrated speakers, a 2MP shooter, microSD expansion slot and VZ Navigator preloaded. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing or availability so far. I hope it will be available soon.

TechFaith Wireless Releases Twins Phone

Chinese TechFaith Wireless has released the Twins phone which is the “first WCDMA/GSM dual mode phone” in the world. The phone allows users to load one WCDMA card and one GSM card or to load dual GSM SIM cards. The Twin phone is available in two versions; the “Dragonfly” and “OMAP”, with the latter having a faster CPU and tri-band network support instead of quad-band. The handset has a 2MP shooter, a 2.8 inch touch sensitive TFT LCD display, 256MB RAM, 64MB ROM, integrated MP3 and MPEG4 playback, a WCDMA modem, Bluetooth connectivity and video call support. There is no info on when this mobile phone will be available in the States.
