
FCC has unveiled the Pantech C180 that will be released in the States via AT&T. It is actually an entry-level GSM cell phone that supports Bluetooth connectivity, a camera, an FM radio, a memory card slot and an integrated music player. No word on pricing or availability so far. [PhoneScoop]

Korean phone manufacturer Samsung Electronics has rolled out the Samsung SCH-B890, a 2G slide phone that features a 2.8-inch AMOLED display. Available in Noir Black and Pearl White, the handset also supports T-DMB, a 3MP shooter with smile detector and auto-focus functions, SOS messenger, and English study content. [SamsungHub]

The Gresso Grand Monaco phones has been introduced in Russia. The handset was inspired by the F1 racing. The Grand Monaco is made from “titanium superalloy” with a high-tech ceramic and carbon. Other materials include steel and hand-polished 42 K sapphire crystal. The phone comes with flat keypads and supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, a 2MP camera, Bluetooth, e-mail and “an outstanding menu design”. Available in “Metallic Ceramic Black Carbon” and “Metallic Ceramic Black Carbon”, the Gresso Grand Monaco is priced at $2,100 each and can be ordered via Gresso’s official website. [Gresso]

LG Electronics will release two full touchscreen handsets namely the L-06A and L-04A in Japan via NTT DoCoMo on August 20th, 2009. Both cell phones feature LG’s “Live Character Park” UI, a swiveling touch panel, a 5.1MP camera, a MicroSD external memory, and HSUPA(High Speed Uplink Packet Access) service. The “G” button on the keypad provides users a one-touch connection to Google’s business directory. The LG L-06A comes in three different colors including white, black and red, meanwhile the LG L-04A is available in white, yellow, silver and pink. [AVING]

Philips will release the K700 and the X501 in the near future. The Xenium K700 features a full touchscreen display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, and probably a long lasting battery as with other Xenium handsets. Unfortunately, there is no further info about the X501, but we can see that it has a 2MP digital camera. No word yet on when or where the Philips K700 and X501 will be available. More
