
Motorola has finally launched the highly anticipated Motorola Milestone for the European market. This Android 2.0=powered smartphone will initially be available in Germany via O2 and Vodafone. For your info, the Motorola Milestone will feature a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone will also come with a range of applications including Google Maps, Google Talk, Google Mail, and YouTube. Sadly, there is no info on pricing so far. We will keep you posted. [Motorola]

Verizon has recently confirmed the availability of its new Motorola Droid. The Google Android 2.0-powered phone will be released on November 6th, 2009 for $199 with a new two-year customer agreement after a $100 mail-in rebate. In case you didn’t know, the Droid uses a Cortex A8 processor with a 16GB of memory, a 3.7-inch LCD display, a 5MP shooter, Bluetooth, and a QWERTY keyboard. [Verizon]

The Motorola Aura Diamond Edition is now available for purchase. The handset is plated with 18 carat gold and 34 diamonds. The Motorola Aura Diamond Edition supports Quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity, the CrystalTalk technology, a stereo Bluetooth, music and video playback support, a 2MP shooter and a 2GB of internal memory. Motorola has finally unveiled specifications on the Motorola Droid smartphone. Measuring 2.4-inch x 4.6-inch x 0.5-inch and weighing at 6-ounces, the cell phone will feature a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 854, a 5-megapixel camera with 4x zoom, autofocus and a dual LED flash. Additional features include a 550MHz processor, a 16GB microSD card, GPS, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g WiFi and a micro USB port. Its 1400 mAh Li-ion battery will provide up to 385-minutes of talk time or up to 270-hours of standby time. No info on pricing or availability so far. [Engadget]

Motorola has added a new color option to its Motorola i776 line-up. This clamshell phone is now available in purple in addition to burgundy. As a reminder, the handset features a VGA camera, a built-in GPS receiver and supports Bluetooth connectivity. The Motorola i776 retails for $80 with a contract. [MobileWhack]

Motorola in collaboration with Ferrari have released the Motorola i9 Ferrari edition in Brazil via Nextel. This special edition clamshell phone features the Ferrari logo engraved on its case along with Ferrari wallpapers and screensavers. It also offers two QVGA displays, a 3.1MP camera, external illuminated keys, push-to-talk service, GPS, Bluetooth and a 2GB memory card in the box.
