
Motorola has announced the upcoming release of Motorola Motoroi in Europe under the name of Motorola Milestone XT720. The handset is likely to be available in the UK in the next few months, however, there’s no word on pricing yet. To remind you, the Milestone XT720 is an Android smartphone that sports a 3.7-inch 480 x 854 multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display, a 550MHz processor, an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with Xenon flash, a microSD card slot (an 8GB card included), 720 HD video recording support, GPS, WiFi, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headset jack and runs on Android 2.1 OS. Announced back in May, the Motorola FlipOut is finally official and will start shipping in Europe later this month. In case you didn’t remember, the FlipOut is an Android smartphone that features a 2.8-inch 320 x 240 touchscreen display, a 3MP camera, a full QWERTY keyboard, MotoBlur UI, a 512MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), a 3.5mm headset jack, A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and runs on Android 2.1 OS. Still remember the Motorola i1, which is dubbed as the first PTT Android Phone for Latin America? Motorola will launch this handset in the US via Boost Mobile on June 20th, 2010. It is said that the Motorola i1 retails for $349.99 without a contract. Additionally, the Motorola i1 will also be available in Latin America (Mexico, Brazil and Argentina) via NII Holdings (Nextel). Motorola today announced that Nextel Argentina, Nextel Brazil and Nextel Mexico will release the Motorola i1, which is actually the first push-to-talk Android-powered smartphone in Latin America. The Motorola i1 combines Nextel’s industry-leading Push-to-Talk (PTT) service, DirectConnect, with premium phone features. Bluetooth SIG has unveiled a new cell phone from Motorola, which is dubbed as the Motorola XT502 Greco. The Greco is a Quad-band GSM and Tri-band UMTS phone that supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a USB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a camera and Google Android OS. Measuring at just 9mm thick, the upcoming Verizon Motorola Shadow will feature a 720MHz TI OMAP 3630 processor, a 4.1-inch TFT full-WVGA touchscreen display, Android 2.1 OS (upgradeable to Android 2.2), an 8MP camera with HD (720p) video recording, 1080p output via HDMI port and a 2GB of built-in memory.
