
LG in collaboration with iRiver are set to unleash a new music phone for the Korean market called the LG-LB4400. Specs-wise, the handset will sport a 2.8-inch 240 x 480 AMOLED touchscreen display, a 3-megapixel camera, a DMB TV tuner, Dolby Surround Mobile and support a wide range of audio formats including MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, APE, FLAC, AAC as well as AAC+. Another music phone has just been launched in India by Fly Mobile. Known as the Booom MC105, the handset sports a 2-inch 176 x 220 TFT display, a 0.3-megapixel camera, a 0.5MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (a 2GB card included that comes pre-loaded with 50 Bollywood songs), dual SIM card slots, an FM radio, a LED flashlight, GPRS, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack and comes with a built-in amplifier and a 30×40 mm speaker located on the rear panel. The wait is over! The highly anticipated Nokia X6 “Comes with Music” edition is now available for purchase. The smartphone features a 3.2-inch (640 x 360 pixels) capacitive touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel camera with a dual LED flash, 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi and a 32GB of internal storage that is enough to store approx. 7,000 songs. The Nokia X6 is the first Nokia device with a capacitive touchscreen that provides more precision and quicker response than resistive displays. Nokia has launched the firmware update version 11.0.054 for Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, which is only a minor update. The new firmware delivers a smoother home screen to the handset. In case you didn’t know, the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is a music phone that has a 2.9-inch TFT resistive touchscreen display with 640 x 360 resolution, a 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash, a 70MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, Symbian S60 5.0 OS and supports quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) connectivity. The Nokia 8208 has been approved by the FCC. The CDMA phone was announced earlier this year. It features a dual-slide form factor, and supports MP3 music player, 3MP camera with 6X digital zoom and video recorder, and 150MB internal storage with 16GB microSD card support.
