
Nokia E71 has received a new firmware updates. The new v200.21.118 firmware update features plenty of software improvement. You can get the software update via the Nokia Software Updater software. FYI, the firmware is currently available for EMEA region only and release date for other regions is not known yet. [Symbian Freak]

Nokia has recently introduced the Nokia 8800 Gold Arte, the latest addition to the Nokia 8800 Arte range. The handset comes jam packed with stainless steel parts with 18 carat gold plating and premium quality leather. The mobile phone also has a slide mechanism with precision ball-bearings, and soundtracks and living wallpapers created exclusively for the range. This 3G handset also features a 3.2MP camera with auto focus, an OLED display, a built-in memory of 4GB, and Nokia’s anti-fingerprint coating on its casing. The Nokia 8800 Gold Arte will be available in selected markets in Southeast Asia Pacific from Q2 2009 onwards. [Slashphone]

Nokia has introduced the high-end Nokia N97 handset at CES 2009. As a reminder, the phone offers a 3.5-inch, 640 x 360 pixel (16:9 aspect ratio) resistive touchscreen display with tactile feedback and QWERTY keyboard. Its battery provides up to 1.5 days of continuous audio playback or 4.5-hours video playback. The N97 also supports HSDPA, WiFi, and Bluetooth radios, A-GPS, a 3.5-mm headjack, and 32GB of onboard memory with microSD expansion (for up to 48GB total capacity). [YouTube] More

Nokia has decided to release its low end CDMA handset for the US market. Known as the Nokia 1006, the phone has been introduced at CES 2009. There is nothing special with this mobile phone.
