
The Nokia 101 and 100 are two entry-level handsets, which are powered by the Series 30 operating system. The difference between the two is that the Nokia 101 supports dual-SIM and has an MP3 player. Designed with the fact in mind that these phones are often shared between families, they can support up to five separate address books and store personalization details for up to five different SIM cards. Both cell phones features a grid-based system of icons, a 3.5mm audio connector, preloaded games, and a built-in flashlight. The Nokia 700 Symbian Belle smartphone is claimed to be the most compact touch monoblock smartphone in the market so far. Measuring 110mm x 50.7mm x 9.7mm and weighing at only 96grams, the handset is ideal for those who want a smartphone that slips easily into their pocket but don’t want to miss out on modern smartphone functionality. The Nokia 700 offers a pentaband radio, WiFi and up to HSUPA 3G data transfers. It is powered by a 1GHz processor, and also incorporates GPS, a compass, Bluetooth and an FM radio. The new Nokia 600 Symbian Belle smartphone is designed to provide an all-in-one entertainment hub. The handset comes with a pentaband radio, and supports 3G data rates up to HSUPA standards, as well as WiFi and Bluetooth. The phone also supports A-GPS with an accelorometer and a magnetometer. The Nokia 600 provides a 2GB of storage capacity, which is upgradeable via a microSD card (up to 32GB). Other specs include a 5-megapixel full-focus camera on the back, with an LED flash, that can take stills and 720p video. The new Nokia C3-01 Gold Edition is designed exclusively for Eastern European and Middle Eastern markets. Measuring 111mm x 47.5mm x 11mm and weighing 100 grams, the smartphone packs a 1GHz processor, a 2.4-inch touchscreen display, a 5MP rear-facing camera with flash, a luxury 18-carat gold plating, a ceramic-feel keymat and a matching theme. Nokia has announced the availability of the Nokia 500. This Symbian-powered smartphone is designed for those who are looking for a low-cost, full-function smartphone. The Nokia 500 features a fast 1GHz processor, changeable back covers, a 3.2-inch (640 x 360) capacitive touch display and a 5-megapixel camera that can also capture video. The Nokia 500 comes with the latest Symbian Anna OS, offering a refreshed UI, a better browser and split-screen messaging. Other specs include Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi b/g. Nokia Russia has recently unveiled the release date of the Nokia N9 MeeGo phone. The handset will be launched on August 19th, 2011 for around $686. As a reminder, the Nokia N9 MeeGo phone comes jam packed with a 3.9-inch AMOLED display, a polycarbonate body and a choice of 16GB or 64GB internal storage capacity.
