O2 UK is about to launch a new touchscreen phone on their network in August. Known as the Alcatel One Touch 602 England Rugby, this rugby-themed handset will feature a special cover and come packed with content dedicated to England Rugby team. In terms of specs, it will offer a 2.4-inch 240 x 320 touchscreen display, a 104MHz processor, a 2.0MP camera, a 4MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB), social networking integration, a microUSB port and a 850mAh battery. O2 UK is preparing to release Sony Ericsson’s brand new Android smartphone ‘Xperia Ray‘ on their network in September. The handset is now listed at the company’s product page, however, there’s no word on pricing yet. Just to remind you, the Xperia Ray offers a 3.3-inch 480 x 854 capacitive touchscreen display, a 1GHz processor, a 512MB RAM, an 8.0MP autofocus camera, 720P HD video recording capabilities, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 1500mAh battery and runs on Android 2.3 OS. Called the LG Optimus Chat C550, the handset is equipped with a 2.8-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 140MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, a 3.0-megapixel camera, a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, HSDPA, GPS, WiFi, a 3.5mm headset jack and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo OS. That’s right! UK mobile retailer O2 is ready to launch the Nokia E7 in May 2011. It was previously scheduled to go on sale in March 2011 with some other UK mobile networks. As a reminder, the Nokia E7 comes with a 4-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a slide out QWERTY keyboard, an 8-megapixel camera with a dual LED flash and an HD video recording in 720p.
