
Orange has recently announced that they will release the Motorola Dext (Cliq) in the UK on October 7th, 2009. The Motorola Dext will be available free on a two year contract with Orange for £35 ($55) per month. The package will include 900 call minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited Internet browsing and access to Orange Maps. In case you didn’t know, the Motorola Dext features a 3.1-inch HVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 480, a 5-megapixel camera with built in Auto focus, and a slide out QWERTY keyboard. Orange UK and Apple have reached an agreement to release iPhone 3G and 3GS to Orange UK customers later this year. In case you didn’t know, Orange has the largest 3G network covering more people in the UK than any other operator. Orange haven’t confirmed on price plans or exact date. We will keep you posted. Orange will start selling the LG Touchscreen Watchphone (LG-GD910) in the UK via its Bond Street Station shop on Thursday, 27th August. Available for a limited time only (first-come-first-serve), consumers will be able to purchase the phone for just £500. The watchphone features a scratch resistant touch-screen interface that makes writing text messages easy. Other specs include a built-in speaker, and an MP3/AAC player. Orange has officially confirmed that they will release LG GD910 watch phone sometime in August this year. The phone will be available for a limited time only. However, the carrier hasn’t yet pinned a price on the touchscreen GD910 watch phone. Word has it that this wearable handset will be priced at a hefty £1,000 or equal to $1,618 on a pay-as-you-go plan or SIM-only. Too bad, it’s not cheap! More

Orange and Nokia has joined together to release “Comes With Music” service exclusively for Orange customers on the Nokia 5800. This service will be available across a selection of Orange pay monthly price plans and upgrades from Friday 29th May 2009. [Slashphone]
