The Pantech Crossover is now available at AT&T. The handset features a 3.1-inch display, a 600MHz processor, a 3-megapixel camera, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and the Google Android 2.2 OS. The Crossover also has a textured back and rubberized corners to give users a better grip on the device. Pantech has recently unveiled a new dual-core Snapdragon phone that will be released this month in South Korea. Known as the Pantech Vega No. 5, the smartphone a 5-inch (480 x 800) touchscreen display, an overclocked dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8660 processor, a 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 16GB of internal memory, an 8-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi and 14.4Mbps HSPA+ connectivity. Pantech has come out with another smartphone called the Vega Racer. The handset packs a 4.3-inch 480 x 800 touchscreen display, a 1.5GHz MSM8660 Scorpion dual-core processor, an Adreno 220 GPU, a 1GB RAM, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, an 8.0-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1650mAh battery and supports for HSPA+ / CDMA2000 1xEV-Do Rev connectivity. The Pantech Mirach Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone will be launched in South Korea. Known as IM-A740S or IM-A750K on KT’s network, the Mirach A features a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, a 800MHz processor, a 512MB of RAM, a 432MB of internal memory, a DMB TV tuner, a 1,350mAh battery, a 3MP rear camera and a 0.3Mpix front-facing camera. Measuring 115mm x 60.5mm x 11.4mm and weighing 99.9 grams, the handset also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and DivX movie files. [Akihabara]

Pantech will launch its new high-end Android handset in the South Korean market via Sky. Dubbed as the Vega S IM-A730S, the phone features a 1.2GHz Snapdragon CPU, DDR2 RAM, a 4-inch (800 x 480) touchscreen display, the Google Android 2.2 OS, HD video playback support and HSPA+ capabilities.
