Pantech is set to drop their first Android smartphone ‘IM-A600S’ for the South Korean market. The handset features a 3.7-inch 800 x 480 AMOLED touchscreen display, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 5MP camera, a 500MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), WiFi, T-DMB, DivX support, an HDMI port and runs on Android 2.1 OS. The Pantech Sirius IM-A600S will hit South Korea this month via SK Telecom for 900,000 Won (about $810). [Yonhap News]
Pantech has recently rolled out a new cellphone under the SKY brand, which is codenamed SKY IM-U585S. Dubbed as the therapy cell phone, the SKY IM-U585S provides “color therapy” sessions to help you brighten your mood. The phone also boasts a 3-megapixel camera, a 2.9-inch (240 x 400) display, T-DMB, a 158MB of internal memory, a music player, motion and infrared sensors, and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Pantech comes back with their latest cell phone that is specially designed for girls. The Sky IM-U560K boasts a touchscreen display with an accelerometer allowing you to enjoy different games and application, as well as being able to completely manipulate its GUI via hand gestures and movements. Coming in a sporty design with slim body, the handset offers a 3-inch 240 x 400 TFT touchscreen display, a 3MP camera , a 62MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), a media player, an FM tuner, T-DMB, Google Maps, widgets support, Bluetooth and supports CDMA EVDO Rel 0 / HSDPA 7.2Mbps connectivity. AT&T is set to introduce another messaging phone from Pantech namely the Pantech Impact. The handset will be available starting this Sunday, 22 November, for $99.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate. Specs-wise, the phone has two displays: a small external one and a larger internal one, a photo camera with video recording, a full QWERTY keyboard, a music player, AT&T HTML mobile browser, GPS, 3G and easy access to IM and email. Coming in glossy red or blue color option, this slim slider features two always-active keyboards – full QWERTY and alphanumeric keyboards, a 2.2-inch QVGA display, a 1.3MP camera, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), a music/video player, AT&T Navigator, IM, email, HTML browser and 3G connectivity.
