
Philips has released the first official photos including specs of its upcoming second Android Smartphone, the V808. Specs-wise, the handset is equipped with a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB), music and video players, widget support, GPS, a 1000 mAh battery and supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity. Philips has introduced two new touchscreen phones to its range in the form of the X806 (pictured above) and C702. The X806 offers a 3.5-inch 240 x 400 TFT display, a 5MP camera, a 47MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, an FM radio, Bluetooth and supports quad-band GSM/GPRS connectivity. Meanwhile, the C720 is a CDMA 1X phone that features a 3.4-inch QVGA display, a 1.3MP camera, GPS, a 70MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and Bluetooth connectivity. Both handsets are likely to be released in China pretty soon for unannounced price yet. More

Philips will release the K700 and the X501 in the near future. The Xenium K700 features a full touchscreen display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, and probably a long lasting battery as with other Xenium handsets. Unfortunately, there is no further info about the X501, but we can see that it has a 2MP digital camera. No word yet on when or where the Philips K700 and X501 will be available. More
