Philips Xenium X630, New Candybar With Long-Lasting Battery

Philips has unveiled their latest handset namely the Philips Xenium X630 that boasts a super long battery life. This new candybar phone comes with a 1530 mAh battery capable of lasting up to 12 hours in talk-time, or up to 50 days in stand-by time. Other interesting specs include a 2.4-inch QVGA display with 262k colors, a 3.2MP camera, a music player, an FM radio, a microSDHC card slot (up to 8GB) and Bluetooth with A2DP. Philips Releases C600 and W186 Handsets

Philips will launch the C600 and W186 later this week. The Philips C600 is a dual-mode cell phone that works on Tri-band GSM networks (900/1800/1900 MHz), and on CDMA 800 MHz. What makes this handset unique is that it comes with two call keys, one for GSM and one for CDMA. Other features include a 2.4-inch QVGA touchscreen display, an MP3 player, a 1.3MP camera with video recording, a 2.5MB of internal memory and MicroSD card support (up to 2GB).

Meanwhile, the Philips W186 is made for China Unicom’s Wo brand. The phone supports Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz) and dual-band UMTS (850/2100 MHz) connectivity, with HSDPA 3.6Mbps. Other specs include a 2-inch TFT display with 176 x 220 pixels, a 2MP camera with video recording, Bluetooth with A2DP, an FM radio, a 150MB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support (up to 8GB). Philips has unveiled their latest handset namely the Philips Xenium X830. This new candybar phone sports a touchscreen display with 240 x 400 resolution and 262k colors, a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, a music player, an FM radio with RDS, GPS, a 47MB of internal memory, a microSDHC card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth and supports quad band GSM connectivity with EDGE (no 3G). Philips X550, Another Phone With impressive Battery Lifetime

Philips has added a new member to its Xenium series with the introduction of Philips X550. This new candybar phone offers a QVGA display with 262k colors, a 3.2MP autofocus camera, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB), an FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth and an impressive battery lifetime that lasts up to one month in stand-by mode. Sadly, the X550 doesn’t have any 3G connectivity, it only supports GPRS and EDGE for data transfers, so it might not be sold in the US. Pricing and availability are still unknown at the moment. More

Upcoming Philips Xenium X810

According to rumors, Philips will release the Xenium X810 in China as a successor to the previously released Xenium X800. The phone boasts touchscreen functionality and has a 240 x 400 pixels TFT touchscreen display with 262K colors, Navigation, Quad-band GSM connectivity with EDGE, a 3.2MP camera with flash, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. Other features include a 45MB internal memory, a microSDHC memory card slot, and up to one month of stand-by time. There is no info on the release date at this time. [UnWiredView]

Philips Xenium X700 is the company’s latest clamshell handset that features: a 3.2MP camera, 2.4-inch TFT internal display with 240×320 pixels and 262K colors, 2.0-inch TFT external QVGA display, music/video player, FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth 2.0, up to 720 hours in stand-by/450 minutes in talk-time mode and supports Quad-band GSM connectivity.
