
That’s right! The almighty FCC has finally approved the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9981. The smartphone supports WCDMA 850MHz and 1900MHz frequencies, which means that it will be available in the US market via AT&T’s 3G network. Word has it that AT&T will launch the unlocked version of Porsche Design P’9981 for around $2,000. [Wireless Goodness]

RIM and Porsche have collaborated to release the special edition Blackberry Porsche P‘9981. The smartphone features a 1GHz processor with a touchscreen display, a full QWERTY keyboard, an 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot(up to 32GB), a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording and NFC support. The BlackBerry Porsche P’9981 also has a brushed stainless steel case with a leather backing, custom Porsche fonts and redesigned icons. The handset runs on the latest BlackBerry 7 OS. A new product designed by Porsche, The P9552. The new design puts a minimalist twist on its predecessor the P’9521 and it is carved from a solid block of aluminum. The phone comes with a 2.8-inch OLED touchscreen display covered with a single sheet of scratch-proof mineral glass, a fingerprint reader, five-megapixel camera, MP3 player, WiFi capabilities, GPS complete the package, and a micro-SD card to expand capacity. Famous sport car manufacturer Porsche has released the Porsche Design P´9522 handset that comes jam packed with a large touchscreen display with a scratch proof mineral glass. This handset also offers a 5.0MP camera with video recording capability, high-resolution OLED display, sensitive fingerprint sensor, and Wireless LAN for unrestricted internet access. A new luxury phone based on the Porsche called the Porsche P9521 has dropped in Taiwan. It’s a collaboration of a Porsche and Sagem and comes in black. It features a fingerprint sensor, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a touchscreen display that can be swiveled 180 degrees, and GSM and EDGE as well as scratch-resistant mineral glass.
