T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8520

T-Mobile USA will release the BlackBerry Curve 8520 on August 5th, 2009. Dubbed as BlackBerry Gemini, the smartphone will be released via retail stores, RPS and Wallmart. The new Curve 8520 is the first BlackBerry device to come with optical trackpad navigation instead of the traditional trackball. The phone also features a full QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, GSM/EDGE connectivity, a 2MP digital camera and access to BlackBerry App World. No word on pricing at this time. [BlackBerryRocks]

BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 With CDMA Networks

BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 originally uses GSM networks, but RIM finally announced that the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 will also available for CDMA networks. Apparently named BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230, the smartphone is said to be released soon in Canada, via Telus. FCC Approves RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900

The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 has been approved by the FCC. The handset is also known as the BlackBerry Javelin. It is actually the update version to the Curve 8300 series. FYI, the smartphone has recently launched by T-Mobile Germany on Wednesday and will be released via T-Mobile and AT&T here in the States. The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 offers a 2.4-inch display screen with 480×360 pixel resolution display, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 512MHz processor, and a full QWERTY keyboard. [Crave]

Vodafone BlackBerry Storm 9500 Announced

The UK carrier Vodafone has decided to release the BlackBerry Storm 9500 smartphone. Sadly, there is no word on the release date and pricing info at this time. The smartphone offers a 3.25 inch touch screen display at 460 x 360 resolution, a 3.2MP camera with autofocus and flash, automatic screen rotation, 128MB RAM, 1GB internal memory, a microSDHC memory card slot and HSPA connectivity. Just remember that the BlackBerry Storm 9500 doesn’t have Wi-Fi connectivity. [SlashGear]
