The specs of the upcoming BlackBerry 8220 and 8210 Smartphone have been unveiled. Online retailer Expansys has leaked a bit of information about these two smartphones. These handset offer 20-key SureType keyboard, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, a standard 3.5mm headphones jack, and a microSD memory card slot. The 8210 doesn’t have Wi-Fi but offers GPS navigation. Meanwhile, the 8220 is a quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) handset. Sadly, there is no official announcement from RIM, so the pricing info is still unknown. [PhoneMag]

BoyGenius has reported that the RIM BlackBerry Thunder touchscreen phone will be available via Verizon. This hybrid handset sports CDMA EV-DO Rev. C, and GSM HSPA for traveling internationally. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing so far. [BoyGenius]

Verizon will release the RIM BlackBerry Niagara EV-DO handset in May next year. The phone will feature QWERTY keyboard, 480 × 360 LCD display, EV-DO Rev. A support, aGPS support, a 3.2MP shooter, 4.7 OS platform, BES 5.0 support (HTML email, etc) and a Qualcomm MSM7600 processor. There is no word on pricing so far. [BoyGenius]

RIM BlackBerry has unveiled its new clamshell cell phone. Dubbed as the “Kickstart”, the handset utilities a SureType keyboard, an external LCD, a decent looking internal LCD and a camera. What makes this phone cool is that it has the TrackBall for navigation. [BoyGenius]
