The phone has a thickness of 9.4 mm and features a 2MP camera which is ideal for both videos and still images, a USB 2.0, and Bluetooth connectivity. Other specs include an FM Radio, and a built-in 100 MB memory for storage.

Alltel has offered a slim candybar phone from Samsung. Dubbed as the SCH-R510 or the Wafer, the handset sports EV-Do, stereo Bluetooth connectivity, a megapixel class camera, a memory card slot for expansion options, and a music player. The Samsung Snap on the other hand is a clamshell handset also known as the U340. The Wafer and Snap will retail for $70 and $10, respectively.

Samsung has released in Korea the SCH-C210 a.k.a. the Ultra Edition 5.9. Measuring just 5.9mm thin, the SCH-C210 features Bluetooth connectivity, a 2MP camera, an electronic dictionary, and MP3 playback. The handset will retail for approx. $430 after conversion.

Samsung introduced a new Symbian OS smartphone, the SGH-i400, at the S60 summit in Madrid, Spain. The smartphone is aimed at young professionals. It offers an all-embracing language support system, enhanced downloadable applications, and multitasking features to boot. Samsung’s i400 has standard features like full web browsing, Bluetooth, 2MP camera and MP3 playback specific buttons. Other features includes a 2.3-inch wide screen and a miniSD slot expandable up to 4GB. The i400 will be launched in Russia in July.
