
Sprint have just announced the availability of Samsung Moment and Sanyo SCP-3810 on their network. In case you’ve forgotten, the Samsung Moment offers an 800MHz processor, a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a 3.2MP autofocus camera with flash, a full QWERTY keyboard, an accelerometer sensor, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), GPS, WiFi, stereo Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports EV-DO Rev A connectivity. The handset retails for $179.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in-rebate. Meanwhile, the Sanyo SCP-3810 is an entry-level clamshell that sports a 2.4-inch QVGA internal display, a 1.3MP camera, web browser, GPS and supports Bluetooth connectivity. Tele Atlas and Samsung have announced an agreement under which Samsung will use Tele Atlas maps for its GPS-enabled devices. Samsung will be able to bundle Tele Atlas’ product with its smartphone with more than 24 million points of interest (POIs), Voice Maps, and visual enhancements such as 3D Landmarks, 2D City Maps and Digital Elevation Models.
The two companies will continue to collaborate to deliver rich navigation and location solutions, covering a wide range of products and regions. [Slashphone]

After releasing the Galaxy Spica in Russia, Samsung will release this handset in Finland. The Samsung Galaxy Spica is actually the smaller version of the Samsung I7500. The phone features an 800MHz CPU, a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera, Android 1.5 OS, a 128MB RAM, a 100MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and support HSDPA connectivity. Samsung is gearing up to release another touchscreen phone namely the Samsung S5560. Korean giant Samsung today released its all-in-one smartphone ‘T* Omnia II’ in South Korea via SK Telecom.
