Samsung have officially announced that their second Android smartphone namely the i5700 Galaxy Lite will soon be available in Russia under the name of Samsung Galaxy Spica. The phone will start shipping in Russia in November for 14,000 rubles (about $482). So here are the specs: an 800MHz CPU, a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera, Android 1.5 OS, a 128MB RAM, a 100MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and support HSDPA connectivity. Samsung B3310 Released In India

Samsung has decided to release the B3310 in India as part of the Corby family. Dubbed as the Samsung Corby Mate, the phone features a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 2-inch QVGA display, a Quad-band GSM connectivity, easy access to social networking sites, email, Bluetooth 2.1, an FM radio, a music player, a 2MP shooter, a 40MB of internal memory and a microSD card support. MetroPCS's First Windows Mobile 6.1 Smartphone

MetroPCS and Samsung has launched the new Samsung Code (SCH-i220) that uses Windows Mobile 6.1 as its operating system. The Samsung Code supports a 3G data connection, a 2MP digital camera, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth and a QWERTY keyboard. There is also an optional WizPro interface for customization on the home screen and creating shortcuts to the most frequently used features on the phone, including inbox, calendar appointments, and more. Vodafone will release the Samsung H1 on October the 30th, 2009, but you can pre-order this handset right now. The phone is available for free with a 24-month contract, which costs £30 per month. In case you didn’t know, the Samsung H1 is Vodafone’s first mobile phone that uses Vodafone 360 Platform. Samsung Omnia II i8180 To Be Released Via China Mobile

Samsung will launch a new version of the Omnia II i8000 for China Mobile. Dubbed as the Samsung i8180 Chai or Samsung i8180c, the handset is powered by Windows Mobile OS and a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display. The phone also has China-specific features including WAPI, TD-SCDMA connectivity and CMMB (China Multimedia Mobile Broadcasting).
