Wi-Fi Interoperability Certificate has revealed an unannounced LG smartphone, called the GW610. At the moment, we can confirm that the handset runs on Windows Mobile operating system and has a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. It also features a 2-megapixel camera, H.264 video playback capabilities and UMTS connectivity. Chinese manufacturer QiGi has rolled out a super armored smartphone known as the AK007. This ruggedized handset is built for operating in generally extreme conditions. As for the specs itself, it sports a 2.8-inch QVGA display, 2MP camera, 624MHz core processor, 256MB ROM, 128MB of RAM, Windows Mobile 6.1 OS, GPS, 200 mAH battery and comes in two variants supporting CDMA and GSM networks. Nokia 6210s Released in Korea

Nokia has decided to sell WCDMA 3G handsets in Korea. The first model to be launched in Korea is the Nokia 6210s. This slider is based on S60 software and features a 3.2MP camera, an MP3 player, video playback and a stereo FM radio. The Nokia 6210s comes with a 1GB memory card in box. Samsung Impression Smartphone

The Samsung Impression Smartphone is now available for purchase at AT&T network. With a contract, it can cost about $199 ($399 without). HTC Snap Smartphone

HTC has announced their latest Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone ‘ HTC Snap’ at the 2009 CTIA Wireless. This new smartphone offers full QWERTY keyboard, 2.4-inch display, 2MP camera, 528MHz Qualcomm CPU, 256MB of ROM, 128MB of RAM, a microSDHC card slot, GPS/AGPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, quadband GSM and dualband HSDPA/WCDMA and the new Inner Circle feature, which according to HTC, “makes it easy for users to prioritize messages from the most important people in their lives at the press of a button.” The HTC Snap will be available starting the second quarter of 2009, however in US the HTC Snap will be made available under the name HTC S522 (unlocked and with HSDPA 850/1900MHZ connectivity).
