
Motorola has finally launched the highly anticipated Motorola Milestone for the European market. This Android 2.0=powered smartphone will initially be available in Germany via O2 and Vodafone. For your info, the Motorola Milestone will feature a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone will also come with a range of applications including Google Maps, Google Talk, Google Mail, and YouTube. Sadly, there is no info on pricing so far. We will keep you posted. [Motorola]

Sprint have just announced the availability of Samsung Moment and Sanyo SCP-3810 on their network. In case you’ve forgotten, the Samsung Moment offers an 800MHz processor, a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a 3.2MP autofocus camera with flash, a full QWERTY keyboard, an accelerometer sensor, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), GPS, WiFi, stereo Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports EV-DO Rev A connectivity. The handset retails for $179.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in-rebate. Meanwhile, the Sanyo SCP-3810 is an entry-level clamshell that sports a 2.4-inch QVGA internal display, a 1.3MP camera, web browser, GPS and supports Bluetooth connectivity. Available in either Regal Red or Black Onyx, the Sanyo SCP-3810 is free on contract, after a $50 mail-in rebate. More

Sony Ericsson has recently released a video that shows more details about the upcoming Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. The X10 was originally known by its prototype name of Rachel or the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3. The smartphone supports a 4-inch touchscreen capacitive display with WVGA (800×480) resolution, an 8-megapixel camera with Autofocus, LED flash, image stabilizers, smile and face detection, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi b/g. Here’s a look at another upcoming Windows XP phone from a Chinese handset maker iTG. Dubbed as the xpPhone, this smartphone boasts a 4.8-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen display, an AMD Super Mobile CPU, a 512MB/1GB RAM, an optional 8GB SSD or 120GB HDD, a 1.3MP camera, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, Windows XP OS and supports both GSM and CDMA connectivity. The much awaited BlackBerry Storm2 is finally making its way to Verizon Wireless on October 28th. This smartphone will be sold for $179.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate (it requires “a voice plan with an Email and Web feature or an Email and Web for BlackBerry plan”). Measuring 2.4-inch x 4.6-inch x 0.5-inch and weighing at 6-ounces, the cell phone will feature a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 854, a 5-megapixel camera with 4x zoom, autofocus and a dual LED flash. Additional features include a 550MHz processor, a 16GB microSD card, GPS, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g WiFi and a micro USB port.
