
RIM has unveiled the BlackBerry Colt, which is known as the company’s first QNX-based smartphone. Powered by a single core processor, the handset has a similar form factor to the BlackBerry Bold. PC Mobile is ready to release its first Android smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy 550. The network carrier offers the smartphone for only $99 prepaid. As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy 550 features the Google Android OS 2.1 operating system, a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, and a 2-megapixel camera. The FCC has recently released the Droid Bionic FCC documents this morning, detailing the upcoming Android phone and tests performed on the phone. Other documents that have been released include the phone’s user manual, which should please anybody planning to pick up the phone.
