Specs-wise, the handset is equipped with a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB), music and video players, widget support, GPS, a 1000 mAh battery and supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity. MetroPCS and Samsung has launched the new Samsung Code (SCH-i220) that uses Windows Mobile 6.1 as its operating system. The Samsung Code supports a 3G data connection, a 2MP digital camera, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth and a QWERTY keyboard. There is also an optional WizPro interface for customization on the home screen and creating shortcuts to the most frequently used features on the phone, including inbox, calendar appointments, and more. Vodafone has officially announced the upcoming release of BlackBerry Storm2 9520 on their network. The company will start selling the Storm2 9520 on October 26th for free with a 2-year contract agreement and a data plan of at least £35 per month. Acer has officially announced the Acer Liquid, which is claimed as the world’s first Android 1.6 high definition smartphone that uses Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
