Sony Ericsson has recently released a video that shows more details about the upcoming Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. The X10 was originally known by its prototype name of Rachel or the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3. The smartphone supports a 4-inch touchscreen capacitive display with WVGA (800×480) resolution, an 8-megapixel camera with Autofocus, LED flash, image stabilizers, smile and face detection, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi b/g. Other features include aGPS, Android 2.0 with Custom user interface, and a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor. The Sony Ericsson X10 smartphone will be launched on November 3rd, 2009. More

According to rumors, Sony Ericsson is currently working on a new Symbian S60-powered smartphone called the Sony Ericsson Kurara. The phone will feature a full touchscreen display (possibly a 3.5-inch) and an 8.1-megapixel camera. The Sony Ericsson Kurara will be released sometime in the first half of 2010. [UnWiredView]

Word has it that Sony Ericsson will release their latest candybar phone namely the Sony Ericsson Susan. The camera phone will come with a 5MP shooter with a LED flash. The Sony Ericsson UI is now available via KDDI network, which is actually the first BRAVIA handset from this network carrier. The handset adopts Sony Bravia Technology and Sony Blu-ray forwarding technology allowing you to enjoy Blu-ray movie on your phone by syncing it to a Blu-ray player. The Sony Ericsson U1 also has a 3-inch WVGA LCD display, a microSDHC card slot (up to 16GB), waterproof (IPX5/IPX7), a 5MP digital camera with Auto focus, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 1Seg TV. Here is good news for those who are living in the UK. Sony Ericsson will release the Sony Ericsson Satio via Vodafone network. FYI, the handset has a 12.1-megapixel camera with Xenon and LED Flash and runs on the Symbian S60 5th edition OS. Vodafone is offering the Sony Ericsson Satio for a hefty £35 or £40 ($55 or $64) monthly with contract for 24 months. [TechRadar]
