Sony Ericsson Satio Released In The UK

Here is good news for those who are living in the UK. Sony Ericsson will release the Sony Ericsson Satio via Vodafone network. FYI, the handset has a 12.1-megapixel camera with Xenon and LED Flash and runs on the Symbian S60 5th edition OS. Vodafone is offering the Sony Ericsson Satio for a hefty £35 or £40 ($55 or $64) monthly with contract for 24 months. [TechRadar]

O2 UK Launches Eco-friendly Sony Ericsson Naite

O2 UK has recently announced the availability of the Sony Ericsson Naite on their network. In case you didn’t know, the Naite is an eco-friendly candybar phone that is made from recycled and recyclable materials. The phone features a QVGA display, an HSPA connectivity, stereo Bluetooth, a 2MP shooter, and a MicroSD card support (up to 8GB). Sony Ericsson Equinox For T-Mobile USA

The Sony Ericsson T707 will be released by T-Mobile USA as Sony Ericsson Equinox. The phone features a scratch-resistant LCD display, Stereo Bluetooth, picture messaging, a 3.2MP camera and a “fashionable pulse light.” This clamshell phone should be on sale via T-Mobile starting on October 28th, 2009 for around $100 with a contract agreement for 2-years. The FCC has approved the Sony Ericsson Yari, which is also known as the Sony Ericsson U100a. It is a slider phone that comes with gesture controls which apparently will make your games a whole lot more fun. Additional features include a 2.4-inch display (240×320), a GPS receiver, a 5MP camera with flash, a separate camera for video calls, stereo speakers, Bluetooth, WiFi, and a microSD memory expansion slot. The Yari runs UMTS Bands 1, 2, and 5, and GSM GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900. No info on pricing or availability so far. [Navigadget]

Rumor has it that Sony Ericsson’s upcoming first Android smartphone ‘Xperia X3 Rachael‘ might be released in January next year. As mentioned earlier, this high-end smartphone will feature a 4-inch touchscreen display with 800 x 400 resolution, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, an 8MP autofocus camera, a new customized user interface, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm headset jack. More News On Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness will not be offered through the usual distribution channels. The phone will be offered through outlets such as Selfridges and other “design museum shops” when it is released in the UK this November. Cathy Davies, Sony Ericsson’s marketing director, said that the Pureness will be positioned more as an “iconic niche product, not mass-market.” The Pureness is priced at £530 each or around $870.
