
Still remember the Sony Ericsson T715a that we mentioned in June this year? FCC has finally approved the handset, so we are sure this slider will be available soon in the States. In case you didn’t know, the phone provides a 2.2-inch QVGA display with 256K colors, a 3.2MP camera with Photo light, a new UI feature, a music player, a Stereo FM radio with RDS, Google Maps, a 90MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP. Expansys has confirmed the specs of Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3. Dubbed as the Rachel, the company’s first Android-based smartphone features a 4-inch display with 800×400 resolution, a microSDHC card slot, a mini-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone socket. The phone also supports for SMS, MMS, POP, IMAP and Exchange email. The connectivity options include dual-band 900/2100MHz HSDPA 10Mbps, HSUPA at 2Mbps, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi and GPS. AT&T has already told you that the Sony Ericsson C905a and W518a would go on sale in July 2009. The carrier looks to have kept its promise. These two handsets are now available for purchase. The C905a 8MP camera phone is priced at $179.99 after rebate and two-year agreement, meanwhile the W518a Walkman phone goes for $49.99 under the same conditions. [AT&T]

Word has it that the Sony Ericsson C905 will be released via AT&T on July 19th, 2009. The phone supports an 8MP digital camera with Xenon flash and 30fps QVGA video recording, a 240×320 resolution LCD display, GSM/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and aGPS. No word on pricing so far. [BoyGenius]

The Sony Ericsson “Kiki” comes equipped with a unique transparent glasslike display allowing images projected on it can be viewed from both sides of the handset. The handset also boasts a smooth surface keypad on the front, where the numbers should appear only when the phone is turned on. There is no info on the specs of this cell phone. A Danish mobile phone site, Mobil has reportedly said that Sony Ericcson is working on their first Android powered XPERIA smartphone — codenamed “Rachael”, which is set to be released later this year. According to them, the phone will feature a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a big touchscreen display, a 8MP camera, HSPA, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a mini-USB connector.
