Verizon Sony Ericsson Xperia Play Retails For Only $99.99

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is currently available for pre-order via Amazon. The smartphone is priced at just $99.99 for those who are new to Verizon or $149.99 for existing customers who want to upgrade. What makes the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play special is that it has a side-sliding gamepad. The phone comes pre-loaded with several games such as Madden NFL, The Sims 3, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, Star Battalion, Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior, Crash Bandicoot, and Tetris preinstalled. The Xperia Play features a 1GHz single-core processor, a 512MB of RAM, a 400MB of internal storage, which is expandable via a microSD card slot. Verizon Wireless is set to launch Sony Ericsson’s brand new PlayStation-certified smartphone ‘Xperia Play‘ on their network on May 26th. The handset will retail for $199.99 with a new 2-year contract. Here are some leaked pictures of the upcoming Sony Ericsson ST18i and CK15i. Word has it that the Sony Ericsson ST18i comes jam packed with the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, an 8-megapixel camera and a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor. The Sony Ericsson CK15i features a slider keyboard and a 3.3-inch (240 x 400) resolution display. Too bad, there is no official conformation from the company at this moment. Sony Ericsson will launch the Xperia Kyno in France. The phone is powered by the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, a 3.7-inch FWGA (854 x 480) display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, an 8MP AutoFocus camera with 720p video recording, a 512MB RAM, a 1GHz single-core processor and an 8GB memory card pre-installed.
