HTC will launch a special edition of the HTC Sensation that adopts the Beats by Dr. Dre technology for optimized sound quality. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5Ghz Qualcomm 8260 processor, a 4GB of internal storage, a 1,730mAh Lithium-ion battery, and a set of Dr. Dre in-ear headphones. Designed for women, the Samsung Galaxy S Femme Aveda Edition will be available in a limited quantity. Only 5,000 of these handsets will be made available to the masses. Developed in conjunction with Aveda, a US based cosmetic company, the Samsung Galaxy S Femme Aveda Edition consists of a pink Galaxy S, an Aveda traveling kit, a travel kit voucher and a 4GB microSD memory card. The phone comes bundled with the Aveda software that delivers beauty treatment advices for women to choose the best treatment to keep their skin and hair young and beautiful. Korean giant Samsung today introduced their latest handsets in Germany in the form of the Samsung Star S5230 FIFA World Cup “Fan Package” and Samsung Star S5230 LaFleur. The “Fan Package” edition is white, while the LaFleur edition is red with a floral pattern on its case. These handset come jam packed with a 3-inch WQVGA display, an accelerometer, Bluetooth, HTML browser, a 3.2MP camera and a MicroSD card support. Samsung has rolled out a special edition version of its My Touch S5600 touchscreen phone. Dubbed as the Samsung My Touch Custo Special Edition, the handset features a special artwork on the back cover that displays the picture of the famous Spanish designer, Custo Dalmau. Other than that, the rest of the specs remain unchanged as the original version, it has a 2.8-inch 320 x 240 touchscreen display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, a 2GB memory, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB) and supports 3G connectivity. Motorola will release the new MOTORAZR2 V9 Ferrari Special Edition in Malaysia.
