Sprint is set to release another smartphone from Samsung namely the Samsung Moment, Samsung’s first Android-powered phone. The handset will go on sale starting on November 1st for $179.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $50 instant saving and a $100 mail-in-rebate. So here’s what you get, an 800MHz processor, a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera, a full QWERTY keyboard, an accelerometer sensor, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), GPS, WiFi, stereo Bluetooth, EV-DO Rev A connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack and provides access to social networking sites including Twitter, Facebook and Flickr. Samsung has officially announced the release date of its upcoming Samsung Instinct HD. The handset will be available for purchase starting on September 27th through Best Buy, and October 11th via Sprint’s retail channels. Sprint will be selling it for $249.99 with a new two-year contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate. So here are the specs: a 3.2-inch 320 x 480 touchscreen, a 5MP autofocus camera, an accelerometer sensor, an on-screen QWERTY keyboard (portrait and landscape), GPS, Sprint Navigation, WiFi, Bluetooth, a TV-out HD connection and EV-DO Rev A connectivity. The new Motorola Clutch i465 will be available via Sprint this summer onwards with a new service agreement for 2 years costing $39.99, $20 instant rebate and $50 mail-in rebate. It is actually the first iDEN Nextel Direct Connect handset with a full QWERTY keyboard. The i465 also has group messaging features that allows you to create groups of 20 people. What makes this phone more cool is that it meets Military Specification 810F for low pressure; high and low temperature, dust, shock, vibration and solar radiation. Word has it that Sprint is currently performing internal tests on not one but two Android handsets, and will both be available by next year. The first handset is the HTC Hero, which was announced earlier this week alongside a new UI called Sense, and apparently will be ready before the end of 2009.
