
Sprint has issued an over-the-air update for the HTC Evo 4G. If you’re an Evo 4G owner, your phone should notify you that there’s an update available. Once you’ve installed the new update, your HTC Evo 4G will be on version 3.30.651.3. According to Sprint, only users with the newest Evo 4G’s that come with 3.30.651.2 should need this update, and users of the older versions (3.29.651.5) won’t even be seeing the notification that it is available. The Sprint LG Optimus S will be available on November 7th, 2010 for U.S. residents. Powered by the Google Android 2.2 Froyo, the phone comes jam packed with a 3.2-inch capacitive touch-screen, a virtual QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2-megapixel camera with a 2x digital zoom, a 600MHz processor, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB) and mobile hotspot capabilities. The all new Samsung M360 Flip is now available for purchase via Sprint. The handset is being offered for free with a new contract agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate. For your info, this clamshell phone comes with a number of interesting features including a 1.3-megapixel camera, social networking services integration, GPS, Bluetooth and a 6.2-hour battery. Word has it that Sprint will release a new Android handset from HTC, which is known as the HTC Knight. As we can see in the picture above, the phone has four touchscreen buttons located at the bottom of the device that will serve as primary navigation buttons. Sprint has issued a new firmware update for the Samsung Moment to fix bugs and issues with inability to dial 911. This new update also brings some enhancements to the proximity sensor and screen lock. If you are an owner of Sprint’s Samsung Moment, then your phone should automatically download it and prompt you to install.
