
The HTC Flyer will be available in the US market via T-Mobile. The handset is expected to hit T-Mobile some time this summer. In case you didn’t know, the HTC Flyer features a 7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor and the Google Android 2.4 Gingerbread. T-Mobile and Samsung have officially introduced their newest Android smartphone, the Sidekick 4G. To be available later this spring, the Sidekick 4G sports a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, a five-row QWERTY keyboard, a front-facing VGA camera, a rear-facing 3.0-megapixel camera, Facebook and Twitter pre-loaded, 4G connectivity on HSPA+ and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo OS. T-Mobile is ready to release the LG Optimus 2X. This Android handset will be re-branded as the G2X. In case you didn’t know, the LG G2x features a 4.0-inch (480 x 800) capacitive touchscreen display with a 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera. What’s more, the smartphone also has an 8GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB), 3G, A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and an HDMI port. T-Mobile has finally issued the BlackBerry OS 6 for its Bold 9700 smartphone. The update isn’t yet live on the website, but 9700 owners who connect to BlackBerry Desktop on their PCs should be able to install the update. The release build is version 6.0.0.448.
