
The Samsung Behold II is now available in the US via T-Mobile network. The smartphone comes jam packed with Google Android OS, a 5MP AF camera module, a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and a microSD card (up to 16GB). What makes this Android phone special is that it supports Samsung’s TouchWiz 3D interface with 3D cube menu for easy access to multimedia contents. The Sony Ericsson T707 will be released by T-Mobile USA as Sony Ericsson Equinox. The phone features a scratch-resistant LCD display, Stereo Bluetooth, picture messaging, a 3.2MP camera and a “fashionable pulse light.” This clamshell phone should be on sale via T-Mobile starting on October 28th, 2009 for around $100 with a contract agreement for 2-years. The Android-powered Huawei U8220 will be released via T-Mobile Europe as T-Mobile Pulse. However, there is no info on pricing or availability at this time. The Pulse U8220 has just appeared on pre-order at a Dutch retailer’s website for €257 or equal to $366 (free of contract). Sadly, the phone is locked on T-Mobile’s network. T-Mobile has finally and officially announced the release date of HTC Touch Pro2. The smartphone will be released on August 12th, 2009. The HTC Touch Pro2 comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera, AWS 3G, GPS, a 3.6-inch WVGA display, and WiFi. The phone also boasts the unique Straight Talk technology that delivers an integrated email, voice and speakerphone experience. Research In Motion (RIM) has officially released the BlackBerry Curve 8520 for T-Mobile network. Dubbed as the BlackBerry Gemini, the smartphone features a 2-megapixel camera with video recording, a 320 x 240 resolution display, a multimedia player, WiFi, and a 1150mAh battery. The Curve 8520 also supports “out of the box Mac compatibility,” which basically means users can sync contacts, notes and calendars via the BlackBerry Desktop Software on Apple’s computers. T-Mobile USA will release the BlackBerry Curve 8520 on August 5th, 2009. Dubbed as BlackBerry Gemini, the smartphone will be released via retail stores, RPS and Wallmart. The new Curve 8520 is the first BlackBerry device to come with optical trackpad navigation instead of the traditional trackball.
