Toshiba has just released a rebranded version of its well known TG01 smartphone in Japan in the form of the T-01A. Measuring only 9.9mm thick, the T-01A sports a 4.1-inch WVGA resistive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 resolution, a Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor, HSDPA, GPS, WiFi and runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. Two giant carriers namely Spain’s Telefónica and japan’s NTT DoCoMo are set to launch the highly anticipated Toshiba TG01 smartphone starting June or July. NTT will be selling it under the name of docomo PRO series T-01A in Japan. As a reminder, this high-end smartphone offers a huge 4.1-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, Windows Mobile 6.1 OS (upgradeable to 6.5), a 3D user interface, Wi-Fi, GPS and a microSD card slot. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing so far. Here are some of the leaked pictures of Toshiba’s upcoming TG02 and TG03 handsets. According to Techblog, the TG02 offers a 4.1-inch touchscreen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, GPS, 3.2-megapixel camera, Windows Mobile 6.5 OS and a waterproof shell. Meanwhile, the TG03 sports a 4.1-inch touchscreen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, GPS, 5-megapixel camera, Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, 5.1-channel audio and video-box functionality for video playback. According to rumors, the handset will be featured QSD8250 CPU with 256 MB of RAM and 512MB ROM, Windows Mobile 6 Professional OS, a 3 inch 800×480 WVGA 65K color touchscreen display, a secondary 0.8 inch 96×39 B&W OLED LCD, camera, Wi-Fi, a-GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 +EDRm miniUSB and a microSD memory card slot. Toshiba has rolled out its latest touchscreen phone, known as the TG01.
