Samsung is reportedly preparing to release another affordable touchscreen phone ‘Champ 2 (C3330)’ into the market. The handset is said to feature a 2.4-inch QVGA touchscreen display with stylus pen support, a 2MP camera, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), a music player, an FM radio, ChatON and IM support, Samsung Apps store support, Bluetooth 3.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 1000mAh battery. Called the C2-02 The Appeal, the handset packs a 2.6-inch 320 x 240 TFT touchscreen display, a 2.0-megapixel camera, a slide-out keypad, a video/music player, preloaded maps, a microSD card slot (2GB card included), Bluetooth and works in GSM/EGSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) network. Verizon Wireless is set to launch another touchscreen phone from Pantech namely the Pantech Hotshot. This ultra-thin handset (0.35 inches) packs a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera, a microSD card slot (2GB card included), an Opera Mini Browser, VZ Navigator, V CAST Video, V CAST Tones and Bluetooth connectivity. A new dual SIM touchscreen phone from Fly has just been unveiled in Russia. Called the E195, the handset sports a 3.5-inch 320 x 480 touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera, a 70MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), dual SIM card slots, an FM tuner, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.5 headset jack and works in GSM network. O2 UK is about to launch a new touchscreen phone on their network in August. Known as the Alcatel One Touch 602 England Rugby, this rugby-themed handset will feature a special cover and come packed with content dedicated to England Rugby team. In terms of specs, it will offer a 2.4-inch 240 x 320 touchscreen display, a 104MHz processor, a 2.0MP camera, a 4MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB), social networking integration, a microUSB port and a 850mAh battery. Samsung USA has listed another touchscreen phone on their product page namely the Samsung Character (SCH-R640). Specs-wise, the handset sports a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a side-slide QWERTY keyboard, a microSD card slot, Samsung’s TouchWiz Lite UI, a music player and provides quick access to social networks.
