
LG has just announced the availability of its GD510 Pop in the UK via Carphone Warehouse. This touchscreen handset is sold for £99.95 (about $166) on pay as you go basis. As a reminder, the GD510 Pop offers a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display, a 3MP camera, an accelerometer sensor, a music/video player, an FM radio, a Web browser, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth and supports quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity. Samsung is gearing up to release another touchscreen phone namely the Samsung S5560. This slim handset (11.9mm) will feature a 3-inch WQVGA display, a 5MP camera with autofocus and flash, a 78MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), a music/video player, an FM radio with RDS, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack and support quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity. Here’s another upcoming touchscreen phone from Samsung that was recently appeared over in Russia, the Samsung GT-i6330.
