LG today introduced the LG SB210 touchscreen phone that comes with several unusual features. The handset provides maps for 280 golf courses and other golf-related services, including a so-called “Receive PJT” application. The new LG SB210 also features a G-sensor, compass and a calories calculator. Other specs including a 3-inches touchscreen display with 240 x 400 pixels, GPS, a 3MP shooter, a 242MB of internal memory, a MicroSD card support, and a 1,000 mAh battery. Measuring 111mm x 55mm x 12.3mm and weighing 106 grams, the LG SB210 will be released later this month in South Korea via SKT for 638,000 Won ($539). [Press Release]

According to rumors, HTC and Verizon will release two new smartphones under the carrier’s banner namely the HTC Imagio and Predator. The Imagio will come with a 3.6-inch touchscreen display with 800 x 480 resolution, a 3G connectivity, a GPS navigation and Wi-Fi support. The handset will be released on October 6th, 2009. Designer Seunghan Song has creatively designed the Universal Phone, which is specially designed for both blind and sighted people. The phone features thousands of micro pins that dynamically raise and lower forming a tactile surface for all to get touchy with. Huawei is ready to launch two new touchscreen phones for the Chinese market. Known as the C7300 and T550+, the former is a CDMA2000 phone meanwhile the latter supports both GSM and TD-SCDMA connectivity. Measuring 109.4mm x 57.6mm x 14.2mm and weighing at 110grams, the C7300 features a 2.5 inch QVGA touchscreen display with 65k colors, a GPS, a handwriting recognition, a 2MP camera, an MP3 player and a MicroSD card support. Pantech has finally unveiled a new touchscreen phone for the Korean market. Known as the IM-U460K, the handset will be sold under the name of Pantech Love Actually. Measuring 104.9mm x 54.6mm x 12mm, the Pantech Love Actually comes jam packed with a 3-inch WQVGA display, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB), a media player, a 3MP camera, a video-call camera, a 255MB of internal memory, and a MicroSDHC card support. Czech firm Mivvy has launched three cell phone that supports dual SIM cards, the mivvy dual TV touch, mivvy dual nio and mivvy dual slide. The handsets come only with tri-band GSM/GPRS connectivity (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) and all of them can use a secondary SIM card on the 900 / 1800 MHz GSM frequencies. Measuring 107.4mm x 52.5mm x 14.5mm and weights 90grams, the mivvy dual TV touch comes equipped with an analog TV tuner, a 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen display, Bluetooth, an MP3 player, an FM radio, and a 1.3MP camera. Meanwhile, the mivvy dual slide comes with a 2-inch, 176 x 220 pixels display, Bluetooth, MP3 player, FM radio and a photo camera. Its features are similar to the ones of the mivvy dual slide, the main difference being the QVGA display. The mivvy dual nio has a similar design with Nokia Supernova.
