
Best Buy Mobile will launch the Samsung Fascinate when it launches on Verizon Wireless. The Samsung Fascinate will be available for pre-order on August 27th, 2010 for Reward Zone members and on August 29th, 2010 for the general public. Verizon Wireless today released the Samsung Gusto that sports a 2-inch main display, multiple messaging options, Dynamic Voice Enhancement technology with noise suppression, mobile Web browser and Bluetooth technology for hands-free communication. Available in Metallic Gray, the Samsung Gusto is now available online at www.verizonwireless.com for free after an online discount with a new two-year customer agreement and in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores in the coming weeks for $19.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. The FCC has finally approved the ZTE F350, which is the first Chinese handset for Verizon Wireless. It is actually an entry-level slider phone that features a QVGA display, a VZ Navigator, Bluetooth and a 1.3MP camera. It comes with a battery that should last up to 240-minute of talk-time or up to 220-hour of stand-by time. Verizon will release this handset in the near future. Stay tuned for more updates. More

Verizon will launch the new BlackBerry Bold 9650 smartphone via online on June 3rd, 2010 and via Verizon Wireless Communications Stores on June 10th, 2010. There is also a non-camera model that will be available on June 3th, 2010. For your info, the BlackBerry Bold 9650 has a 480 x 360 pixels display, a full QWERTY keypad, an optical trackpad, Wi-Fi, Verizon Navigator 6, stereo Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack, and a 3.2MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash. The BlackBerry Bold 9650 is actually Verizon’s first global smartphone to support GlobalAccess Connect, so it can be used for tethering in more than 200 countries worldwide. GlobalAccess Connect plans are available for $65 monthly access for 5GB allowance in the United States and Canada ($0.05/MB overage) and 100 MB allowance in select countries ($5.12/MB overage). There is also a $155 monthly access option that offers 5GB allowance in the United States and Canada and 200MB allowance in select countries, with the same overage rates as the $65 monthly option. Verizon’s Bold 9650 will retail for $149.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate. [Verizon]

Measuring at just 9mm thick, the upcoming Verizon Motorola Shadow will feature a 720MHz TI OMAP 3630 processor, a 4.1-inch TFT full-WVGA touchscreen display, Android 2.1 OS (upgradeable to Android 2.2), an 8MP camera with HD (720p) video recording, 1080p output via HDMI port and a 2GB of built-in memory. Verizon should launch the new Motorola Droid/ Shadow in July 2010. Too bad, there is no info on pricing so far. [HowardForums]

Some folks at Boy Genius have unveiled the new BlackBerry Bold 9650, which is currently listed as “coming soon” at Verizon. The smartphone comes jam packed with a 3.2-megapixel camera, BlackBerry OS 5, a 512MB RAM, EV-DO Rev. A, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
