Best Buy has started taking pre-orders for Virgin Mobile’s Motorola Triumph. The handset comes jam packed with a 1GHz processor, a 4.1-inch WVGA display, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a front facing VGA camera, an HDMI output and an SD card slot that supports up to 32GB of storage. Virgin Mobile Canada will launch the BlackBerry Bold 9900 very soon. The smartphone features the BlackBerry OS 7, a VGA touchscreen display, a full QWERTY keyboard, a 1.2GHz processor, HSPA, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, a 5MP AutoFocus camera, a 720p video recording and an 8GB of on-board memory. Just like Bell Canada, the handset is sold for $124.99 with a 3-year/SuperTab contract agreement or for $499.95 free of contract. Virgin Mobile Canada is ready to release the LG Sway. This entry-level handset features HSPA support, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a 2-inch display, GPS with A-GPS, an MP3 player, Bluetooth, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), and a WAP browser. As you’d expect with such a feature set, the phone is cheap. The LG Sway is currently available in Virgin Mobile retail locations. Virgin Mobile has officially confirmed that they will launch the HTC Desire and Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 on their network in April 2010. As a reminder, the HTC Desire features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and a 3.7-inch AMOLED display. Meanwhile, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 supports a 4-inch touchscreen display and Timescape application to link all your social networks and contacts together.
