
Samsung has updated the Epix (SGH-i907) with a new firmware update that upgrades the phone OS from WinMo 6.1 to WinMo 6.5. As a reminder, the Samsung Epix comes jam packed with Wi-Fi connectivity, an integrated aGPS, AT&T Video Share support, Global roaming, a 2MP camera with video recording capability, a full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.5-inch TFT color display. Samsung has finally launched the company’s first Windows Mobile-powered handset in Japan. Known as the Softbank X01SC, the phone is powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 with a full QWERTY keyboard, a Qualcomm MSM7225 processor, a 2.4-inch display at QVGA resolution, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. Samsung has unveiled their latest Windows Mobile 6.5-powered smartphone in the form of the OmniaPRO B7330. The smartphone features a full QWERTY keyboard, a 320 x 320 display, a built in FM tuner, a 3-megapixel camera, and 7.2Mbps HSDPA/ 2Mbps HSUPA connectivity. Vodafone and LG have joined together to release the LG GM750, a new Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone that should become available across Europe starting October 6th, 2009. The phone is actually an upgraded version of the LG GM730.
