
Rumor has it that Sony Ericsson’s upcoming first Android smartphone ‘Xperia X3 Rachael‘ might be released in January next year. As mentioned earlier, this high-end smartphone will feature a 4-inch touchscreen display with 800 x 400 resolution, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, an 8MP autofocus camera, a new customized user interface, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm headset jack. Expansys has confirmed the specs of Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3. Dubbed as the Rachel, the company’s first Android-based smartphone features a 4-inch display with 800×400 resolution, a microSDHC card slot, a mini-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone socket. The phone also supports for SMS, MMS, POP, IMAP and Exchange email. The connectivity options include dual-band 900/2100MHz HSDPA 10Mbps, HSUPA at 2Mbps, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi and GPS. A Danish mobile phone site, Mobil has reportedly said that Sony Ericcson is working on their first Android powered XPERIA smartphone — codenamed “Rachael”, which is set to be released later this year. According to them, the phone will feature a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a big touchscreen display, a 8MP camera, HSPA, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a mini-USB connector.
