TechFaith Wireless Releases Twins Phone

Chinese TechFaith Wireless has released the Twins phone which is the “first WCDMA/GSM dual mode phone” in the world. The phone allows users to load one WCDMA card and one GSM card or to load dual GSM SIM cards. The Twin phone is available in two versions; the “Dragonfly” and “OMAP”, with the latter having a faster CPU and tri-band network support instead of quad-band. The handset has a 2MP shooter, a 2.8 inch touch sensitive TFT LCD display, 256MB RAM, 64MB ROM, integrated MP3 and MPEG4 playback, a WCDMA modem, Bluetooth connectivity and video call support. There is no info on when this mobile phone will be available in the States.
