The First Satellite Mobile Phone In Korea

Asia Pacific Satellite Industry introduced a satellite mobile phone, SO-2510, which is the first satellite mobile phone in Korean market. It is one of the smallest among the existing satellite mobile phones with a small antenna. The handset communicates through artificial satellite; so you can make an international call without the need of roaming service. The company explained that this phone also works well in mountain areas or sea side where normal mobile phones can’t do. Measuring 118 mm x 53 mm x 19 mm and weighing 150 grams, SO-2510 features 65,000 color 1.5 inch LCD screen, data transfer, fax, packet data, GPS, and USB port.
