Nokia will launch three new CDMA handsets for the Chinese market. This includes the Nokia 6316s, Nokia 3806 and Nokia 1506. The 6316s has a 2.2-inch display with 320×240 resolution, a 2-megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.1 support. Available in black, gold and red, this slider phone is the most advanced device that supports for China Telecom’s 3G data network, a built-in GPS receiver and media playback with dedicated controls.
The Nokia 3806 is a candybar phone that provides 3G data network support, a 2.2-inch display with 320×240 resolution, a 2-megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.1 support. Available in black, white and gold, the handset has a memory card slot allowing users to add up to 4GB of storage space. What makes the Nokia 3806 unique is that it has the integrated Health Assistant providing advice on issues like stress.
Available in black and plum, the Nokia 1506 is an entry-level CDMA handset that boasts a voice recorder, a handsfree speaker and long battery life. Both the Nokia 6316s and the Nokia 3806 will be released in the first quarter of 2010. Meanwhile, the Nokia 1506 will be available later this year. No info on pricing of these cell phones so far.
