U.S. Cellular is planning on launching HTC’s latest Android smartphone ‘Desire‘ on their network on August 27th. However, the company hasn’t made any announcement yet concerning its price, but it’s expected to fall somewhere between $99 and $199 with a contract. To remind you, the handset is packed with a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5MP camera with flash, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, Android 2.1 OS and supports both W-CDMA and GSM connectivities.
