Verizon Confirms Google Search For Samsung Fascinate

by Johan on September 13, 2010

Verizon Wireless has confirmed that the Samsung Fascinate, which shipped with Bing as the default search engine, will be able to download the official Android Google Search application once the handset is updated to Android 2.2. Unfortunately, the Google Search will not replace Bing as the main search engine that launches when the “Search” button is pressed. After the latest Android version is installed, the “Search” button will always launch the Microsoft Bing. [BoyGenius]
