
Verizon Wireless is about to launch Motorola’s newest Android smartphone ‘Citrus‘ on their network starting tomorrow. The handset will be sold for $49.99 with a 2-year contract and after a $100 mail-in rebate. In case you didn’t remember, this entry-level phone is equipped with a 3-inch 320 x 240 capacitive touchscreen display, a 3-megapixel camera, a 100MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (2GB card included), a touch panel on the back that helps with navigation, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, a 3.5mm audio jack, a 1150mAh battery and runs on Android 2.1 OS. yuk! Looks like a Fisher Price toy phone! HORRIBLE! VERIZON SHOULD BE WORKING ON GETTING THE IPHONE! Android O/S is TERRIBLE! THERE ARE SO MANY ISSUES LATENT WITH ANDROID O/S!
