
LCD monitors manufacturer ViewSonic has entered the cell phones market by releasing the VPC08. Powered by an Intel ULV processor, this new clamshell phone sports a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with a QWERTY keyboard, a 8GB of internal memory and a 512MB RAM. Other specs including a 2-inch secondary display and a 2-megapixel shooter. According to rumors, the ViewSonic VPC08 will retail for around $800 a pop. The release date is unavailable so far.
